Die „Businessmen of Rhythm“ sind eine Show-Big Band, die ausschließlich tanzbare Swingmusik mit amerikanischem und deutschem Repertoire spielt. Alle Titel sind so arrangiert, dass der „Normalbürger“, der 20 Jahre keine Tanzschule mehr von innen gesehen hat, sich auf dem Parkett wohlfühlt!
Gleichzeitig ist das Programm als Konzertversion sehr interessant. Dies betrifft Veranstaltungen, die nicht als „Swing - Dance“ gemeint sind. Zum Beispiel: Tourneen, Einzelauftritte in Konzertsälen, Fernsehshows, usw..
Dafür sorgen die exklusiv für Stefan Nagel geschriebenen Arrangements. Sie geben den "Businessmen of Rhythm" einen eigenen, wiedererkennbaren Sound, der dafür sorgt, dass ein Veranstalter zielgerichtet die „Businessmen of Rhythm“ engagiert anstatt auf eine bliebige Big Band mit austauschbarem Repertoire zurück zu greifen.
Wichtiges Element ist die Darbietung des Sängers und Entertainers Stefan Nagel. Seine Performance besteht aus singen, tanzen, steppen, kunstpfeiffen und Moderation in perfekter deutscher und englischer Sprache. (Wichtig für Veranstaltungen die eine firmenbezogene Moderation wünschen)
Das bedeutet: Bei den „Businessmen of Rhythm“ ist ein Entertainer zentraler Mittelpunkt der Show, ohne sich derart in den Vordergrund zu spielen, dass das Publikum am Tanzen gehindert wird.
Schließlich gehört noch ein „exklusiver Look“ zum Gesamtkonzept. Durch das aufwendige beleuchtete Bühnenbild (13 große beleuchtete Goldmünzen als Notenpulte) erhält die Big Band ein edles Aussehen, welches die Wertigkeit der Darbietung optisch auf eine neue und höhere Ebene bringt.

Seit April 2005 gibt es die "Businessmen of Rhythm" auch in Club-Besetzung. Zum Beispiel im Quintett mit Piano, Bass, Drums, Gitarre, Saxophon und Vibraphon!!
Diese Besetzung eignet sich für Clubs oder kleinere Veranstaltungen mit geringerem Budget.

The Businessmen of Rhythm is a “show” big band with specializes in playing danceable swing music from both the American and the German repertoires.
All the songs are arranged in such a way that even someone who hasn’t danced for the past twenty years will suddenly find himself on the dance floor and having a good time.
The program also works very well in performances where dancing is not the first priority: concerts, tours, TV-showy, private party events, etc. The flexibility of the band is greatly enhanced through the wonderful music arrangements, which were written exclusively for lead singer Stefan Nagel. These arrangements give the orchestra its own unique, exciting and recognizable sound, which in turn helps organizers looking for a big band to make the perfect choice in selecting the Businessmen of Rhythm.
A very important element is the performance quality of Stefan Nagel, a well-trained singer and entertainer, who has performed as a soloist and often as the leading man in major musical productions in cities such as Vienna, Dresden and Berlin.
Not only does he sing, he also tap-dances and even whistles! (in the tradition of German entertainer Ilse Werner). He is also capable of moderating programs fluently in both German and English – an important asset for your company’s promotional events as well as with international audiences.

Designed especially for the Businessmen of Rhythm, each of the fifteen musicians music Stands is decorated with an illuminated three-dimensional gold coin.
